Sunday 14th of December 2014 – Chico Buarque de Hollanda
I was talking to friends on Friday and they had never heard Chico Buarque. He’s one of my favourite composers/singer/songwriters ever – I grew up listening to his songs and still listen to them regularly. He has composed hundreds of songs and I don’t know or like all of them, but there are enough of the ones I like to fill a couple of hours.
I decided to make an introductory compilation for them, with a cross-section of his songs. He’s versatile and likes to experiment with different genres. I tried to keep it short, but the shortest I could manage was 1:15 of pure musical delight.
Like my other compilation, I used Adobe Premiere to put the tracks together, then saved as mp3.
