The games finally got on the way after years of expectation. They have been and gone and it’s been fun. There was so much controversy surrounding it all, but in the end it was a big success…
It started with the Olympic relay torch, which went past Tooting on 23/07

On my birthday we had our own sports day at Brockwell Park, that was fun!

On 09/08 J and I went to Hyde Park, to watch the open water women’s 10km swimming (one of the few free events). It was very busy. I ended up climbing up a tree and taking some photos from there.

We got some honestly priced tickets (some of them were a rip off!) to the Olympic Park, to watch the Paralympics athletics.
