Wednesday 21st of May 2008 – Brixton Murals Wikipedia entry
My first entry on Wikipedia has been accepted! Here it is: Brixton Murals
Also here’s info I sent to editor and Boohoo containing the links for the photos that I took/compiled. Editor (he started urban75 up and runs it) is preparing a write up on the walk to put on the urban75 archives – he keeps lots of articles/photos on the history of Brixton, as he’s lived there for so many years – and he hadn’t yet done anything on murals. I’ve been having lots of fun doing all this work on the Wikipedia entry, tagging the photos on Flickr, gathering links… I could do this for a living 🙂
Morning, the report is looking good. That photo you used was taken by memespring, so I pm’ed him asking how he’d like his name to appear. We both have a selection of photos of each mural, but you’re probably busy, so I picked a selection of photos I thought were relevant, and also added links.
You have permission to use any of my photos of the murals/walk.
If you’re not happy with the ones I’ve chosen you can pick something else.
